On August 1st, 2018 (UTC), CoinEx released Wormhole (Token: WHC) trading as the first exchange in the globe. According to its White Paper, all users can generate WHC by burning BCH. With WHC, you can issue smart contracts on BCH.
How to obtain WHC?
You can obtain WHC by BURNING BCH. For the burning process, EACH BCH MUST contain a string of OP_RETURN opcode and be transferred to a specific, private-key-less address for 1000 confirmations (in about a week) before successfully generated into 100 WHC.
To avoid unnecessary asset loss, please do refer to the official instruction. PLEASE DO NOT withdraw any BCH directly from CoinEx account to WHC burning address!
Investment value of WHC
Due to the temporary imbalance between market demand and supply as well as other irrational factors, the price of WHC is highly fluctuated and overrated. In a long term, the value of WHC will be eventually close to a fixed ratio against BCH, i.e. 0.01 BCH. Please invest wisely and be cautious.
